內容簡介

This is a replica of a large stone rubbing in the Library’s collection. The 2-character phrase means “treasures” in English. The original calligraphy was done by Mi Fu, a great painter and calligrapher active from mid-11th to early 12th centuries. The idea of hanging this piece of work at the entrance of the Rare Books Room is to imply that the collection is a national treasure and readers are entering a chamber of treasures.
